If your shipment is leaving the United States, its wood packaging almost certainly has to meet ISPM 15, the international standard for wood packaging material. Packaging that is not treated and marked can be held, refused, or destroyed at the destination, along with the schedule you were counting on.
McConnell Enterprises is accredited by the Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (NELMA) as a Certified Wood Packaging Materials Facility (#09697), and we renew that certification every year. Our export crates, boxes, pallets, and skids are made from heat-treated material and carry the ISPM 15 mark.

Tell us when the cargo has to be at the port or terminal and we'll plan the build around that date. Typical lead time is about two weeks.
Export FAQ
Do all export shipments need ISPM 15 packaging?
Most countries require solid-wood packaging to be treated and marked. Check your destination's rules with your forwarder. We build to the standard by default for export orders.
Is plywood covered by ISPM 15?
Processed wood such as plywood and OSB is generally exempt. The solid-wood parts of a crate (skids, framing, blocking) are not. We build every part to comply.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We build single crates as well as larger orders. On small orders, freight charges may apply.

We also supply custom corrugated boxes and custom-fit foam inserts, with no minimums, on the same order and the same delivery as your wood packaging.
